Episode 33: Taking my talents to Germany

Taking my talents to Germany: The decision.

What's up with me? or What's Wrong with me?

  1. I'm heading to Germany from July 4-22nd.  I will be releasing podcasts when I'm there. I'll get to use my snowball mic that I've had forever.
  2. I beat Diablo 3 on normal!  W00t! Yes it took me a while but we did it! I carried the group....for once!!

Joke of the week

Around the Pods

  1. Adam Carolla had LeVar Burton.  There wasn't much of a conversation with LaVar except for about Roots and Reading Rainbow.  They talked a bit about how he got into acting and how he got his first role in roots at the age of 19.  I hope LaVar is on Nerdist.  I would expect a more in depth conversation.  It is a mystery as to why Lavar called up Adam and told him to cut it out. Not a necessary episode if you are looking for some Lavar entertainment
  2. Nerdist has Billy West and John Dimaggio
    1. Billy west was recently on Adam Carolla: http://www.adamcarolla.com/billy-west/ This was so funny.  The interaction between Billy and Adam is priceless.  Worth the download.
    2. Billy West was on Rob Paulsen's Talkin' Toons #19 http://robpaulsenlive.com/episode-18-of-robs-weekly-podcast-is-out/
    3. Billy West was on an early Nerdist #49 http://www.nerdist.com/2010/12/nerdist-podcast-49-billy-west-not-ready-for-publication-yet/
    4. John Dimaggio was on the latest Rob Paulsen's Talkin' Toons #47 http://robpaulsenlive.com/episode-47-guest-john-dimaggio/

I'll be ending with a word from Larry Miller himself.  It was good to hear from him.  The sad part is that it sounds as if he'll be out for a while.  In the mean time please please please go and subscribe the This Week with Larry Miller.  His stories are great! He is funny and delightful.  Larry, I'm glad to hear that you are doing well.  I miss you and I love you!
